X3 Digital foot-control motors with Variable Ratio Technology (VRT) reduce steering torque and improve responsiveness and feel. Foot-pedal design with pull/pull steel cables provides pro-style feel and easy to learn control when combined with the VRT steering system. X3 mounting bracket is built with extruded aircraft-grade aluminum with stainless steel inserts, a wider base to minimize flex and composite locking pins to provide solid, quiet stow/deploy performance. All X3 motors come with a durable composite shaft designed to flex and protect the motor from underwater objects. Equipped with powerful dual blade Safari Propeller the Digital Variable Speed electronics increase battery time on the water 3 to 5 times over conventional step speed motors and allow anglers to set the exact speed they need to match the fishing condition.
