WEST SYSTEM BRAND? 105 EPOXY RESIN

105 Resin is the base material for WEST SYSTEM compounds. The clear, pale yellow, low-viscosity liquid resin is formulated for use with WEST SYSTEM hardeners and can be cured in a wide temperature range to form a high strength solid with excellent moisture resistance. Contains no volatile solvents and does not shrink after curing. Relatively low flash point and no strong solvent odor make this resin safer to work with than polyester or vinylester resins. Viscosity is approx. 1000 cP at 72?F. Designed specifically to wet out and bond wood fiber, fiberglass, reinforcing fabrics and a variety of metals when bonded with WEST SYSTEM hardener. Used as adhesive, 105 Resin mixtures will bridge gaps and fill voids when modified with fillers, and can be sanded and shaped when cured. 105 Resin/207 Hardener mixtures cure clear to achieve natural finish when coating with varnish.
