Provides MARPA target tracking when combined with a multi-function display and an optional heading sensor. MARPA tracking allows user to track the bearing, course, speed and predicted closest approach of up to 10 targets. Self-contained signal processing provides precise, easy to read signature. Transmits data over the Garmin Marine Network, a 100-megabit plug-and-play proprietary network that allows the ability to expand the boat?s system as needed. Once connected to the network, any network-compatible Garmin chartplotter acts as a radar screen. GMR 18 HD radar image can be overlaid on the chartplotters map page. Allows split-screen display for viewing map and standard radar page simultaneously.
