BEARING BUDDY II W/AUTO CHECK

When hub is full of grease, the blue auto check ring rests about 1/8" outward from the steel retaining ring. A spring loaded piston behind the auto check ring pushes against the grease which generates pressure inside the hub to keep water out, thus offering true bearing protection. If the lubricant is low, the blue auto check ring will recede until it is flush with the steel retaining ring. Add a small amount of grease to move the blue ring slightly outward and restore pressure. Fits hubs with 1.98" opening.
